Grain Walling Concrete Panels

Just thought I would drop a quick note on the blog about our grain walling panels and the different options available. The panels have become very popular for grain stores as they are quick to install, are very robust and easy to seal up. The panels are tongue and groove fitting and so can be placed on top of each other to get up to the desired height. Once you start getting over 4000mm in height you need to start reducing the panel length or possibly increase the panel thickness. For advice on this just ask one of our sales team.

The grain walling panels are normally taken off the lorry using a forklift or telehandler. They are then placed into position using lifting shackles, and then clipped to the front of the steels using bolts and plates. The panels can also go inside the web of the steel if required. Once the panels are in place a polyurethane mastic is used to seal all of the joints.

The speed of installation of the concrete panels is a massive advantage over something like block work.
